Quality, food safety and documentation

We produce and pack at our own plant in Denmark. Below is what a wholesale buyer or reseller normally needs to know.

Approved establishment

Fishmaster ApS is an EU-approved establishment with the registration number DK 7070 EC. The number appears on every pack inside the oval EU identification mark and is the proof of origin and approval for food authorities in any EU country.

HACCP

Production runs on HACCP principles: critical control points are defined at every stage, from goods-in to dispatch, with documented control of temperature, hygiene and labelling.

Traceability

  • Every pack carries a batch number and packing date.
  • From the batch number we can reconstruct the full chain: supplier and origin of the raw material, production date and shift, and who the batch was dispatched to.
  • Records are kept, so we can provide batch-level information on request at any time.

Documents accompanying a consignment

  • Commercial invoice
  • Packing list — items, quantities, weights and batch numbers
  • CMR — the international consignment note issued by the carrier, recording the condition and conditions of transport

Fishmaster ApS is an EU-approved establishment (DK 7070 EC). Under EU intra-Union trade rules our processed fishery products ready for human consumption do not require a veterinary health certificate — consignments travel with commercial documents. If the competent authority in your country requests additional documentation, we will arrange it together with the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (Fødevarestyrelsen).

Shelf life

  • Frozen products — 1 year from the packing date.
  • Chilled products — 21 days from the packing date.
  • We produce to order, shortly before dispatch, and match production volumes to demand. We do not keep old batches in stock — you receive the freshest batch.

Labelling

Every pack states: product name, Latin species name, ingredients, allergens, nutritional values per 100 g, net weight, batch number, packing date, storage conditions and the establishment number DK 7070 EC.

Product specifications

We provide technical product specifications in English — one page per product: composition, allergens, nutritional values, pack format, origin, FAO catch area, fishing method, storage conditions and shelf life. Tell us which items you are interested in and we will send them.
