Octopus vulgaris

Whole octopus, pre-cooked and frozen. The product is fully cooked — it only needs reheating.

Ingredients

Octopus (mollusc), salt and natural lemon flavouring.

Preparation

After defrosting, remove the product from the packaging. Since it is pre-cooked, you only need to heat it.

• Steam: about 5 minutes.
• Frying pan: add a spoon of olive oil and cook over medium heat for about 2 minutes; remove when it turns golden brown.
• Microwave: 1 minute at 600 W.
• Oven: preheat to 180 °C, place the octopus in a baking dish with a little water and put it in the middle of the oven for about 8 minutes.

Shelf life and storage

• Store at −18 °C.
• Do not refreeze.
• Once opened, store in the fridge and consume within 24 hours.
